Gabz, full name, Gabrielle Lyn Gardiner, is a singer-songwriter, rapper and multi-instrumentalist. She writes pop songs, dance tracks and ballads and loves to include rap as she feels this gives her an edge! She was born in Stevenage, Hertfordshire in the UK on 11th December 1998.
Growing up Gabz always loved music and entertaining, and started playing violin at the age of 6 and can now play 5 instruments; piano, violin, guitar, drums, and ukulele – although she admits "some better than others!" Her musical influences include Jessie J, Rihanna, Cher Lloyd & Ed Sheeran. Gabz also passed examinations in drama, ballet, modern and tap dance although her first passion has always been music.
Gabz showed signs of wanting to be in the entertainment business at an early age. She made her stage debut at the age of 6 playing a mouse in the North Central Herts School of Dance (NCHSD) production of Cinderella at the Alban Arena in St Albans, UK in July 2004. Gabz went on to perform a number of times for the NCHSD including performances at Her Majesty’s Theatre, London, and Disneyland, Paris.
En route to the final of the seventh series of Britain's Got Talent in June 2013, Gabz got to sing and play the piano live to her own song for a packed audience at The London Palladium. She released her debut single "Lighters (The One)" on 30 June 2013 via Sony Music, which peaked at number 6 in the Official UK Singles Chart as well as getting onto the Now 85 Album. Gabz was just 13 years of age when she wrote this song!

Since Britain’s Got Talent, Gabz has been working really hard with her school work and now University where she studies music and also fitting in appearances on Radio One, ITV Day Break, This Morning, The One Show and Friday Download. She has performed live at The Olympic Park ‘Go Local Event’ alongside McFly, The Royal Albert Hall and Blackpool's IFest 2015 with The Vamps, Professor Green and Lawson. Between January and March 2018, Gabz featured as a judge on the first series of 'All Together Now' on BBC One Saturday nights with Geri Horner (Spice Girls) and Rob Beckett.
Gabz has gone on to release three further self-written singles, 'Lie There', in 2013, 'Change The Game' in 2014 and 'Losing No Sleep' which was released in February 2018 as well as her debut EP, 'Up' which was released in September 2016.
